Los Angeles Grand Sumo (June 7-8) Group discount tickets on sale

The Los Angeles Grand Sumo Tournament 2008 marks the return of Japanese professional sumo wrestling to Los Angeles for the first time since 1981, an absence of nearly 27 years. Scheduled to participate in the two day sumo tournament on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8, at Los Angeles Sports Arena will be the top 40 sumo wrestlers in Japan.
Professional sumo wrestling has become an international sport with competitors from Mongolia, Korea, Russia, Bulgaria, Georgia, and Japan.
The Executive Committee of the Los Angeles Grand Sumo Tournament 2008 recently announces a following group and business discount ticket program.
The discount ticket program is open to all community groups including schools, social, community, and non-profit organizations. The discount ticket program is also open to all businesses including sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations.
To be eligible for the discount ticket program, participating groups must purchase a minimum of 24 tickets for the two-day sumo tournament. Tickets available under this discount ticket program will include 3 categories.
For example, a group can qualify for the discount program, if they purchase 10 tickets for June 7 and 14 tickets for June 8.
The discount ticket program will run from Wednesday, January 30 to Wednesday, February 20.
Upon payment in full, the Los Angeles Grand Sumo Tournament 2008 staff will issue a voucher or receipt which will later be exchanged for the admission ticket for the particular day of the sumo tournament.
In the event that the sumo tournament is cancelled or re-scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the Los Angeles Grand Sumo Tournament 2008, repayment will be made for the amount of the payment made.
No refunds on discounted tickets will be made once the voucher or receipt is issued and the event occurs on schedule.
The Los Angeles Grand Sumo Tournament 2008 will take place at Los Angeles Sports Arena, 3939 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8, at 4:00 p.m. gates opening for both dates.
Tickets under Discount Ticket Program: B tickets category, Regular price $80 per ticket, Discount price $72 per tickets; A tickets category, Regular price $140 per tickets, Discount price 126 per tickets; S tickets category, Regular price $250, Discount price $225 per tickets.
